She dug up the azaleas in the backyard (twice!). She pulled the elbow curve from the downspout of the gutter too many times to count. She ran and jumped for the lowest branch on the pine tree and held on for a swing. But she transformed herself when she walked in the door.

Tonight I added the ashes of Gino, Lamont & Mycroft to their respective lockets. This was both a sad moment, because I miss my “boys” but also one of tremendous satisfaction as this crazy idea of mine has been in development for over 5 years and today it was realized. Tomorrow I am going to wear all three under a sweater. I’m not sure just how I want to wear them. I’d like to be able to change them from bracelets to necklaces whenever I choose.

In order for you to do the same you will need to look up some useful jewelry terms/items: enhancer bail, snap enhancer, split ring & spring ring. All of these are great alternatives or accents to the bail that’s included with the locket. I have found that my local crafts shops and bead shops have lovely selections of these in sterling with reasonable prices.

And let me say just one more time to go easy on the super glue! A little goes a long way.

~Teresa
